Learning in the Classroom:
- Writing: We have finished our persuasive essays about a change we want to see in the school. I will mark them and send them home as soon as possible. This was a challenge for the students but they did very well for their first attempt.
- Math: We are working on division facts. Grade 5s are learning about long division. This is more about steps of an operation rather than focusing on the understanding of long division.
- Gym: Dance time!
- Science: Grade 5s have finished their Weather unit and grade 4s have finished their proposal to Mr. Higginson for our Outdoor Classroom.
- Reading: We will start a new round of literacy blocks. We will be receiving students from Mr. Firth's class during this time as Mr. Firth works with some students on their own literacy program.
