- This week the grade 5s focused on indigenous shelters that were used across Canada. They developed an appreciation for the diversity of shelters and how their dwellings reflect the climate and traditions of their traditional lands. They then built different shelters after researching them.

- Math: We are still focusing on fractions and will start turning fractions into decimals based on tenths, hundredths, and thousands. I am trying to find more resources for my math page. (mostly videos). Please let me know if you find anything and I will add to the site!
- French: We started to look at winter clothing vocabulary and putting it together with colours to describe what people are wearing.
- Writing: We continue to focus on our informational pieces and learning how important detail is to our audience. We have also started to reflect on our own work and develop skills to revise and improve it!
